As we all know, there have been some recent rollbacks of DEI and the support of Black and Brown communities. So instead of being sad and moping around about it, I’m going to be intentional about sharing my favorite products and where I spend my money. Our dollars have the power to create change, but more importantly to show those within the 92% (along with allies) that we have their back in supporting and uplifting them.
Shopping Black is about more than just buying products. It’s about:
- Supporting Black entrepreneurs: By choosing to buy from Black-owned businesses, we directly support Black individuals and families, helping them build wealth and achieve their dreams.
- Investing in our community: When we support Black businesses, we contribute to the overall economic growth and development of our community.
- Amplifying Black voices: Shopping Black gives a platform to Black entrepreneurs and allows them to share their unique stories and perspectives.
- Promoting diversity and inclusion: By choosing to support Black-owned businesses, we are actively promoting diversity and inclusion in the marketplace.
So let’s get into it. Sharing some of my favorite Black-owned products and brands, along with some I’ve just come across while researching. All products shared are linked.
